Long Jetty takes its name from the jetty itself, a well-known photo backdrop that reaches out into Tuggerah Lake from the Long Jetty Foreshore Reserve on Tuggerah Parade. It's a genuinely beautiful spot for an outdoor ceremony, council-managed and open-air, so it suits a couple who wants their vows said right on the water rather than inside a function room. For the reception, many of my Long Jetty couples head along the lake to The Entrance Lake House, keeping the whole day within a few minutes of where they got ready.
Whether you need Bridal Hair, Bridal Makeup, or hair and makeup for your bridesmaids, I bring the same considered approach to every face in the room, whether we're working from a café-strip rental or a lakefront home.
Long Jetty's café strip gives the morning a genuinely relaxed feel, and plenty of my brides here like to walk down to the jetty itself once hair and makeup are finished, just to see the spot before the ceremony properly begins. It's a small, walkable suburb, which makes logistics simple even with a larger bridal party getting ready together, and it means parking and access are rarely the headache they can be at a busier venue. I also cover wedding mornings inland in Tuggerah for couples celebrating a little further from the lake.
I always confirm a wet-weather backup with couples marrying at the Foreshore Reserve, since it's an open-air council space with no indoor fallback. Building that plan in early means hair and makeup timing never has to change at the last minute, whatever the forecast does.

Every bridal party makeup application for a Long Jetty wedding includes false lashes, skin prep and a bespoke finish matched to each person's skin tone and type, never a one-size-fits-all base. I build a shared theme across the party so everyone photographs beautifully together by the water, while adapting the exact finish to suit each individual. Pricing is confirmed per person as part of your tailored quote.
Yes. Travel within the Newcastle metro area is included in your investment, but a travel fee of $120 applies to Central Coast bookings, including Long Jetty. It's confirmed upfront in your written quote, so there are no surprises added later.
