Your details, handled the way you would want them handled

What I collect

When you send an enquiry through this website, I collect the details you choose to give me: your name, email address, phone number, your wedding or event date, its location, the services you are interested in, and anything you write in the message field.

I do not ask for payment details on this website, and there is nowhere on it to enter them.

My website also records anonymous information about how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and roughly where in the world visitors are. This is aggregated. It does not identify you.

How I use it

Your enquiry details are used to reply to you, to talk through your wedding or event, and to prepare a quote. If you go on to book, they become part of your booking record.

I do not sell your information, and I do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who else handles it

A small number of services help run this website, and your information passes through them:

• Cloudflare hosts the website and provides the spam check on the enquiry form. Their systems log standard technical information such as IP addresses to keep the site secure.
• Resend delivers the enquiry form as an email to my inbox.
• Google Analytics tells me how the website is being used, in aggregate.

Each of these providers handles information under its own privacy terms, and some of them store or process data outside Australia.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser so it can tell a returning visit from a new one. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and the website will keep working normally without them.

The spam check on the enquiry form may also store a short-lived token in your browser to confirm you are a real person rather than an automated script.

How long I keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as they are useful: while we are in conversation, and afterwards as part of your booking record if you book with me. Enquiries that do not lead anywhere are removed once they are clearly no longer relevant.

Your information is yours

You can ask me what personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it if it is wrong, or ask me to delete it. Email me and I will sort it out. There is no charge, and you do not need to give a reason.

If you are ever unhappy with how your information has been handled, please tell me first so I have the chance to fix it. You can also raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
