Here at Lisa Fowler Hair + Makeup, what's traditionally called a bridal hair and makeup trial is held as an unhurried preview session at Estillo studio in Cardiff: a considered appointment, not a test to pass.
We build your hair and makeup together, refine it until it's right, and leave with a written plan for your wedding morning.

Your preview is an unhurried session, away from the noise of wedding planning, where we build your hair and makeup look together, and refine it until it's exactly right.
Bring reference photos, your veil or hair accessories if you have them, and anyone whose opinion you trust. We'll leave with a plan for the morning itself, written down and ready.

Nothing. They're the same appointment. I call it a preview rather than a trial, because it isn't a pass-or-fail test; it's a considered session where we build and refine your look together. Some brides still search for "bridal hair and makeup trial", so you may see both terms used.
Current pricing is listed on the investment page. Your preview is billed separately from your wedding morning package, and the cost is confirmed in writing before you commit to a date.
Ideally 4–6 weeks before your wedding date: close enough that your hair, skin and colouring reflect how you'll look on the day, but with enough time to make any final adjustments.
At Estillo studio in Cardiff, NSW: a relaxed, private space with free parking, good natural light, and no wedding-day pressure.
Yes, bring your mum, a bridesmaid, or whoever's opinion you trust most. A second perspective is often genuinely useful when deciding between two styles.
It's still worth booking. A preview confirms the look holds up under photography and daylight, and gives us both a considered plan for the wedding morning, rather than working it out for the first time under time pressure.
